Milk printer

ECCE LECHE Milk printer
Looking through the statistics on milk production, we observed that a certain amount of milk was not used for food. Was it used to extract the famous casein, ancestor of glues, to make a plastic or a textile? Or is it simply contaminated and disposed of milk? We wanted to reflect particularly this portion of unfit consumption. Both symbolic and practical, our project uses this milk to add value to the milk, to defend quality farms and to boost technical know-how around this matter. It consists of a paper printer using milk as an ink. From black ink to white milk, the design and experimentation of this process here pay tribute to a product that must be learned to look and love anew. Exhibition MILK LAB.
