Interactive wallpaper

 FabWall is a digital wallpaper made up of ‘optical tags’ creating a decor that is part of the Wallpaper Culture. Thanks to these tags, FabWall also offers an augmented reality service. You can also use a “smart” phone to consult content of your choice. Pass the iPhone in front of your walls to rediscover your memories, photos from your childhood or from the other side of the world, access news from FaceBook, Twitter, the weather, or visit your favourite sites. This project is also a strategic reflection on the challenges of contemporary production of products with high artistic value and the system of design, production and distribution of wallpaper models thanks to the possibilities of programming, evolution and modification of the machines while remaining in line with the tradition and culture of French wallpaper.
