France is not a country of Design, but it is a country of Designers.
The exhibition "Designer(s) du Design" aims to draw the landscape, diversity, developments and proposals of French design from designers and their projects.
Conceived by Nodesign, this exhibition presents more than seventy designers, 180 projects, company approaches, personalities, but above all the ways in which designers create, involve themselves, transmit and produce in a variety of practices. From Cyril Diagne to Philippe Starck, through Mathilde Bretillot, the designers presented illustrate the universal French spirit.

Editorialization
Making an exhibition about design is a challenge. How to expose a process, an ambition, a diversity and the uniqueness of its actors?
The exhibition is as much about what we show as it is about voids, tensions, differences, objects and subjects. We also wanted it as a design demonstration: readable, accessible, graspable and didactic.

Video production
We consider the video as an object that is also to put in space.
The Initier room offers to listen to the great masters of French design. Direct witness builds a continuous filiation of which we are descendants.
We also interviewed Marc Berthier exclusively about his concept of lightness, as well as Gilles Rozé and Yves Savinel who, trained by the great masters of applied arts, are the latest designers before the time of the image.

In an installation, 12 designers collectively answer the question “Why design?”. What is the ambition of Design, its role, its challenges?
Design management approaches are presented through interviews, including those of Charles Cambianica or Emerson Delcourt from Decathlon, Anne Asencio from Dassault Systèmes, and Sylvain Grandpierre and the urban development approaches of JCDecaux. These interviews present design management in large French companies.
Scenographic device
The "Flandres" scenography system is designed for roaming and aims at a very low carbon footprint. The entire set design is based on a system of exhibition tables exposition tables designed in 30 and 90 cm height, screens and a single frame. The pieces of furniture are removable, reusable or recyclable. The entire scenography fits on 2 pallets in case of roaming.
Signage
The editorial, but also scenographic signage is deployed on the 1000 m2 of the Tripostal: title, frieze, project cartel and biographical cartel.
This signage allows us to map our editorial approaches. A frieze of keywords sets out the design ambitions and extends over more than sixty meters.
